Lapoint har lång erfarenhet av att hantera olika typer av händelser i världen, och det är viktigt för oss att alla våra gäster, kan känna sig trygga när de reser med oss.

 

Vi följer utvecklingen noga, tar del av information från Utrikesdepartementets och Folkhälsomyndigheters uppdateringar och följer deras rekommendationer gällande rapporteringar av COVID-19 (coronavirus) på våra destinationer.

 

Vi uppmanar alla våra gäster och anställda att följa de förebyggande rekommendationer WHO (World health organization) ger: https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public

 

Vi uppmanar också våra gäster att följa reserekommendationer från Utrikesdepartementet i ditt land. Vi rekommenderar starkt att du lägger till vår avbeställningsförsäkring när du gör en bokning med oss, vilket endast kan göras i samband med bokningen. Utan denna försäkring gör vi vårt bästa att försöka tillgodose dina behov om din bokning är direkt eller indirekt påverkad av COVID-19 (coronavirus).

 

Vi erbjuder alla kunder att omboka sina resor med ankomstdatum från 2020-03-12 till 2020-08-31, ombokning måste ske minst 7 dagar innan ankomst. Kunden kan boka om sin resa till vilket camp som helst med ankomstdatum inom 12 månader från ombokningsdatum. Om en kund vill omboka till en annan destination, kommer fakturan att justeras enligt den nya destinationens försäljningspris.

 

Vi rekommenderar dig också att:

  • 1.Kontakta försäkringsbolaget där du har din reseförsäkring för eventuella återbetalningsförfrågningar
    2.Kontakta ditt flygbolag för eventuella problem med flighter eller flygbiljetter

Q: I haven’t made a booking yet, and now I am afraid of doing so, what are my rights in relations to the COVID-19 virus and traveling with Lapoint?

A: We strongly advise you to add our cancellation insurance when doing a booking with us. This can only be added upon booking time. Without this insurance we will try to accommodate you the best we can if your booking is directly or indirectly affected by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

 

Q: Generally speaking, what does Lapoint offer for customer who already have a booking:

A: Lapoint is offering rebooking opportunities for all existing bookings with travel dates from 12.03.2020 – 31.08.2020. Rebooking needs to be done 7 days prior to departure. Customer can rebook to any camp with arrival date within 12 months of change date

 

Q: I am afraid, I do not want to travel. What are my options?

A: We can help you change dates free of charge as long as you make this change before 7 days of scheduled arrival date. Customer can rebook to any camp with arrival date within 12 months of change date

 

Q: I want to keep dates but change destination. Is that possible?

A: As long as we have space on any other destination, we will try to accommodate this wish. If we don’t have any availability on the desired camp destination, we will try to change the dates of your travel as long as you make this change before 7 days of scheduled arrival date.

 

Q: I want to cancel my trip. What do I need to do?

A: If you have bought Lapoint´s cancellation insurance you can cancel your trip until 1 day prior to departure by sending an email to post@lapoint.no, post@lapoint.se, post@lapoint.dk or info@lapointcamps.com. Cancellations after the arrival date are not considered valid.

 

Cancellation terms without insurance

The Traveler’s cancellation of the Package Tour must be done in writing, either by mail or e-mail to post@lapoint.no, post@lapoint.se, post@lapoint.dk or info@lapointcamps.com.Send us a written cancellation with the number of your Booking Confirmation and your account number included, and we will refund the amount within 2 weeks from the cancellation date.

The date of which Lapoint Travels receive the cancellation will be crucial for the amount of the refund / the Traveler’s payment responsibilities.

 

Cancellation in days before departure; percentage of total refund:

  • From 61 days or more to arrival; 75% (you will be charged 25 % of the total amount)

60 days or less to arrival: 50% (you will be charged 50 % of the total amount)

Under 30 days to arrival: 0% (you will be charged 100 % of the total amount)

Q: Norwegian Ministry of Foreign affairs (UD) is putting restrictions on travelling to the country of question 

A: Customers can rebook to any camp with an arrival date within 12 months of the change date. Customers can get a refund if they have a booking with an arrival date in less than 2 weeks from the date of the restriction and only as long as the restriction is official. As soon as the restriction is lifted, the refund option is also lifted (e.g. no longer an option). Q: My flights got cancelled but there is no travel restrictions to the country

A: We advise you to contact your flight company or your private insurance company for more information.

Q: I am in quarantine and can not travel

Q: I am in quarantine at destination/camp 

A: The camp will accommodate you as best as possible, follow advice form staff and local health authorities, contact your private insurance company.  As long as we have space and are open for business you are very welcome to extend your stay with us for an additional room cost.

 

Q: USA forbid all entrance from Europe

Q: Country forbid you to enter
